THE SEARCH ENGINE
I believe that the search engine will only get bigger and bigger. I think if anything, there will be a need for more search engines. The ones that are already out there will only continue to get bigger as time goes on. I do feel though that the search engines that are already established will get involved into other avenues in order to expand their product. The search engine brand will expand far past the internet. The one area that I feel that these engines will start to target immediatley is the music business. Microsoft I think will be one of the first ones to lead the charge. Mircospft already sees how much money Apple is making off of the IPod. The IPod in my opinion saved Apple. In 2005, sales of Apple went up by 26 percent from 2004. With the IPhone that came out close to a year ago, it does not seem like Apple is going to slow down anythime soon. Even though Microsoft is still the leading computer of choice among comsumers, they would be commiting suicide if they did not jump on the bandwagon also. I have a feeling that they are going to get into that market very soon f they have not gotten into in already. I'm even surprised that Mircospft did not get into the field sooner. That's why in this area Apple is way ahead of Microsoft. They saw a market that they could expliot and they ran with it. I do feel though that the one search engine to keep an eye on is Google. Don't be surprised to see Google make a couple of powermoves themselves in the computer world and beyond in the years to come.

GROUP PLANS
We are running a music record company named Jungle Boyz Entertainment. We were founded in January of 2006. We are based out of Lowell, Massachusetts. The music that we focus on is of the young urban brand, notably hip-hop music. We also deal with rhythm and blues and reggae music and are thinking about expanding into those genres in the near future. So far, we only have two artists currently signed under our label. Rapper 1st Draft, who is also the CEO and the co-founder of Jungle Boyz Entertainment and rapper Se-Millionz, who was just signed in December of 2007. Our goal is to make a profitable local urban market. We are planning on expanding our roster in the upcoming year and have a foothold on the urban market.
Our first step is to introduce our current artist to the market. 1st Draft is the first artist that we are planning on introducing. We currently already have music circulating in Lowell of this artist and have booked shows in the greater Lowell area. We are planning to release his debut album, “AFRICA U.S.A” by the second quarter, no later than June 2008. For promotion of this album, we are planning on shooting a music video for the first single of the album which is also the title track of the CD. We are planning for this video to be shot starting the 17th and we expect to spend no more than five days on the project. The areas in which we are planning to shoot this video are in areas around the city of Lowell including the Lowell Sun building, the green bridge, and downtown area. We also have the song “AFRICA U.S.A” circulating around the city by means of radio and party promotion. We have worked very hard in building a relationship, both personal and business-wise with most of the club promoters and radio and club DJ’s in the surrounding areas. Many DJ’s recognize the power of the song and are willing to push this song to the point where we can have a huge buzz around the city and build excitement about 1st Draft’s album.
The second artist on out roster is rapper Se-Millionz. We are planning his album release for the fourth quarter and for a release no later than December 2008. We currently have no official singles from Se-Millionz since he has just signed to the company. We are however planning on introducing his through 1st Draft on his planned third single “Danger” which will be released by April of 2008. We are still pending on whether or not we are going to release it as a single or not but we plan on at least putting the song out by late March and by the results we will decide what will happen. Because of his age, we are planning on marketing toward teen market as much as we can.

INTERNET DANGER
Tuesday, February 12, 2008
The internet is a great place to communicate with people. The internet has enabled us to stay in contact with millions of people all over the world. There is no need for people to be solely dependent on the old means of communication like the postal service. However, with all the good the interent has to offer, there is a darkside to it. The internet can be very dangerous if not used in a wise manner. Spam crowds e-mail accounts by the trillions everyday. Viruses threaten to destroy computers everyday. On top of that, the internet is home to fruads and petafilers waiting to prey on people who do not use common knowledge when using the internet. Spam is the junk e-mails that people receive everyday. I compare them to the junk mail that we receive in the postal mail everyday. The different is instead of sending pizza coupons and sweepstakes, many people receive many random articles ranging from win and trip to such and such place to porn advertisments. Many people overlook it but it can be a hassle and in some cases dangerous. Some of those spam if you choose to clikc on them contain viruses that can be very harmful to your computer. Many people receive these e-mails by the bulk on a daily basis, in some cases in the hundreds. There is nothing you can really do about it, just that you as a computer user must be very careful in what e-mails you open up. If you have small children using the internet, talk to them about these spam e-mails and give them instructions on how to deal with them.Viruses are the most common way computers become ruined. Viruses come in many shapes and forms. Many people get viruses from downloading from the internet. Sometimes you can have a virus in your computer for weeks and sometimes months without you knowing. Some viruses eat at your computer in a matter of seconds. Unlike spam, viruses can be very costly. If you get a virus, it can take weeks sometimes to fix your computer. Plus the cost to fix computers with viruses can be very costly. To avoid viruses, try not to download anything from an unsercure website. Also be careful of the websites you visit. When pop-off come on your screen, click out as soon as possible.Social networks like Myspace and Facebook have become popular among hogh school and college students. Many people use these networks however to get in contact with minors in order to take advantage of them. They pose as teenage to college aged kids and fool these kids into thinking that they are talking to one of their peers. This has been becoming a problem for the past couple of years. Many organizations have been going down on these petafilers but still many children put themselves at risk by staying in contact with these types of people. One way to reduce this for children who are below a certain age group to not post their pictures on these websites. That way these sickos don't have a reason to attack these children. Also, parents need to keep an eye on who their chldren talk to online. If you are not sure of who you are talking to, avoid contact by all means.
